faq

Q: How does your pricing compare to that of your competitors?
A: We find that when speaking to our customers our pricing is usually slightly higher than that of other painting companies. However we find that the proposals are rarely an “apples to apples” comparison. As well as the fact that we do carry full liability, auto and workers compensation insurance as well as offering a written 3-year warranty on all interior work performed.

Q: What exactly is a “job pre-walk”?
A: A job pre-walk is something that we implemented at the beginning of 2007 and is when the crew leader (job supervisor) contacts the homeowner prior to the start of their job to meet with them and walk the home to discuss the scope of work along with any important details and then to place the paint order. This ensures that when our paint crew shows up on the job, they have everything they need and are ready to work.

Q: What type of paint will you use on my house?
A: We use both Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints and materials, only using the best of each brand.

Q: I am very particular about who I allow to work in my home, and I have young children, how do I know that your employees are trustworthy?
A: Our painters and supervisors are all subjected to painting skills training here in our shop before they are allowed to fill out an application. During the application process, we perform both drug testing and background checks to ensure that we are hiring only the best.

Q: Will you come out and paint a single bedroom or bathroom?
A: Yes, we have grown by servicing our customer’s needs over the years and we want to prove ourselves as well as earn your future business. We do have a minimum job requirement of $550.00, which will usually cover 1 man for 8 hours, a work van and materials.

Q: Other than just standard house painting, what other services to do provide?
A: We do full drywall repairs (want to remove that old medicine cabinet or towel bar?) as well as light carpentry (repairs, crown, chair rail, etc.) we stain and finish wood, we can also paint pool decks, roofs and garage floors.

Q: Do you offer assistance for color selection?
A: Choosing colors is sometimes the most frustrating part of the process because the options seem endless. We provide you with a professional color consultation on all of our jobs with our in house design consultant (who actually has a degree in interior design). We provide up to one hour as a complimentary service, additional consultation time if necessary is available at the rate of $50.00 per hour (billed to the half hour).

Q: Do you offer any type of warranty on your work?
A: Yes, all of our work is covered by warranty. Our exterior work is covered by a 7-year warranty which is also backed up by our paint manufacturer as well. Our interior work is covered by a 3-year warranty, which most painting companies do not offer! Click on our warranties tab from the home page for a detailed explanation of each warranty.

Q: Over the years in Southwest Florida, the quality of home improvement services has seriously deteriorated. How does Painted Perfection, Inc. differ from other companies?
A: I will direct your attention to the “Painted Perfection Promise” here on the website, a detailed written promise that our owner created and follows. Simply put, if you are not happy, we will make it right to you no matter what it takes! We are extremely confident with our quality.

Q: What is the difference between Painted Perfection, Inc. faux artists and the competition?
A: In most cases, faux painters work by themselves or are subcontractors who do not carry liability or workers compensation insurance. Our artists are fully covered by all company protection.
